چکیده

Simulation of Water Balance Components (WBCs) is import for sustainable water resources development and management. The Soil Assessment Tool (SWAT) a semi-distributed hydrological model to estimate the WBCs by forcing response unit (HRU) meteorological variables. developed simulates five viz. surface runoff, lateral flow, percolation, actual evapotranspiration soil at sub catchment level. To demonstrate compatibility case study taken over Chittar catchment, Tamilnadu, India. was divided in 11 catchments. ten year interval LULC (i.e., 2001 2011), twenty daily data 2001–2020) time invariant slope were used developing balance model. Developed calibrated evaluated with river gauge monthly discharging using SUFI-2 algorithm SWAT-CUP. calibration performed two stage i.e., pre-calibration (2001–2003) post-calibration (2004–2010). performance unseen 2011–2015). Then, results statistical outputs coefficient determination (R2) 0.75 pre-calibration, 0.94 0.81 validation. Further strengthen confidential level catchments compared gridded global GLEAM v3.6a. Finally, simulate whereas, during 2001–2020. trend helps make fast accurate decision. At all long drought observed 2016–2018 due failure northeast monsoon. directly reinforced their north east monsoon which gives major portion rainfall September December. Hence correlated or without lag. By understanding useful land resource

Simulation of Hydrological Balance in Eskandari Watershed Using SWAT Model and algorithms SUFI2

In order to manage watersheds, especially in mountainous areas that are not adequately station  hydrological phenomena simulation is important. In this study, the SWAT model used to simulate hydrologic basin Eskandari. Calibration and validation of models for the periods 2006-1992 and 2009-2015, respectively, using the algorithm SUFI2 in software SWAT CUP was done. To evaluate the simulation re...

water balance components estimating in farm scale using simulation model swap

abstarct precise knowledge of all components of water balance is essential to optimize water use in irrigated agriculture. however, water balance components are difficult to measure in required time intervals because their measuring is time consuming and costly. unsaturated zone simulator models are useful tools for predicting the effects of agricultural management on crop water use and can be ...

Simulation of Runoff Quality in Sub-catchment of Karkheh Watershed Using a Field Rain Simulator

In this study, the effects of three land use categories on runoff quality was investigated using a rainfall simulator, in six sub-catchments in Kakasharaf watershed in Lorestan province. In total, 39 instances of artificial rain with a duration 30 min were created and the amount of phosphorus and potassium in the resulting runoff was measured on three land uses. The results showed that the aver...
